As founders of Factor 5, the pair have released various games across Nintendo consoles in the past such as <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/snes\/super_turrican\">Super Turrican<\/a><\/strong> 1 and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/snes\/super_turrican_2\"><strong>2<\/strong><\/a> on SNES, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/gameboy\/contra_the_alien_wars\">Contra: The Alien Wars<\/a><\/strong> on Game Boy, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/n64\/star_wars_rogue_squadron\"><strong>Star Wars: Rogue Squadron<\/strong><\/a> on N64. The studio was also credited on <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/n64\/pokemon_stadium\">Pok\u00e9mon Stadium<\/a><\/strong> for work with sound compression.<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unrealengine.com\/en-US\/blog\/epic-games-announces-the-opening-of-a-new-studio-in-cologne-germany\">press release<\/a> covering the announcement, Epic&#8217;s new studio &#8220;serves as part of the company\u2019s expanding focus on emerging forms of interactive media and streaming technologies&#8221;. What this means in simple terms for us as consumers isn&#8217;t 100% clear, but Eggebrecht has expressed his excitement for recruiting new and &#8220;exceptional&#8221; talent:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAt the core of Epic\u2019s success are highly-skilled and passionate individuals.
