U Deluxe<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/fifa_19\">FIFA 19<\/a><\/strong> are sitting right at the top of the best-selling games list in Europe so far this year.<\/p>\n<p>The news comes from official charts and market research data supplier, GfK Entertainment (thanks, <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gamesindustry.biz\/articles\/2019-08-08-fifa-19-and-new-super-mario-bros-u-are-best-selling-games-in-europe-this-year\">GamesIndustry.biz<\/a>), which has compiled a new, cross-platform report on physical game sales in 2019. Despite being almost six years old, <strong>Grand Theft Auto V<\/strong> has also been hugely popular this year, being one of the top three best-selling games in five European countries.<\/p>\n<p>New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe has been favoured in Austria, France, Germany, and Switzerland, while Denmark, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden and the UK saw FIFA 19 perform better.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s worth noting that the data only includes physical sales as several major publishers &#8211; including Nintendo &#8211; don&#8217;t share digital sales numbers.<\/p>\n<p>Are you one of the many who picked up one or both of these games?
