As spotted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2019\/6\/25\/18744450\/alienware-dell-frank-azor-amd-chief-gaming-officer\">The Verge<\/a>, AMD CEO Lisa Su confirmed that Azor was headed to AMD in a tweet this week, naming him the company\u2019s new chief architect of gaming solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m so proud of what we\u2019ve built together. Our gaming and premium consumer businesses are outperforming the market and are a huge priority for Dell,\u201d wrote Azor in a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/na.alienwarearena.com\/ucf\/show\/2048661\/boards\/gaming-news\/News\/a-message-from-frank-azor\">forum post <\/a>announcing his departure. \u201dBut the builder and creator in me is ready for the next challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Azor co-founded Alienware alongside Nelson Gonzalez and Alex Aguila in 1996.
