Video game retail giant GameStop has revealed<\/a> the most pre-ordered upcoming releases shown during E3 2019. Three Nintendo titles made the cut and one third-party release also coming to the Switch was featured.<\/p>\n

Activision’s next entry in the Call of Duty<\/strong> series took out the top spot and Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield<\/a><\/strong> placed second on the list, despite the uproar about Game Freak’s decision to limit<\/a> the Pok\u00e9dex.<\/p>\n

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening<\/a><\/strong> placed sixth and Super Mario Maker 2<\/a><\/strong> was in ninth place. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled<\/a><\/strong> was the only other Switch-bound title mentioned and it’s due out this week. View the top ten most pre-ordered games below:<\/p>\n

  8. Gears 5 (9-6-19)<\/li>\n
  9. Super Mario Maker 2 (6-28-19)<\/li>\n
  10. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (6-21-19)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In the same news release, GameStop revealed there was a 63% increase in pre-orders on newly announced titles during the week of E3 2019.<\/p>\n
