The To-Do app you know and love<\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve already been using our app on Android<\/a>, iOS<\/a>, Windows<\/a><\/span>,<\/span> or web,<\/a> then the Mac app will feel very familiar. <\/span>Sign <\/span>in and all your tasks will be waiting for you, ready to be checked off. You can work offline,<\/span> add tasks to My Day,<\/span> see <\/span>your flagged email <\/span>in your Flagged email list<\/a>, and share your lists with colleagues or friends and family. The Planner integration<\/a> isn\u2019t available yet, but we<\/span>\u2019<\/span>re already working on bringing the Assigned to Me list to you. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s all in the details<\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s get to the fun bits. Press <\/span>\u2318<\/span>2 and To-Do will move into <\/span>the mi<\/span>nimiz<\/span>ed<\/span> <\/span>view <\/span>so that all you see is the list view. Keep it on My Day to always have your tasks for the day on view. With To-Do on the side of the screen you can work on that budget in Excel or that essay in Word <\/span>while checking<\/span> <\/span>off each step you complete. <\/span>Turn the sound up loud, because of course that oh-so-satisfying ding is also in our Mac app. Want to go back to seeing all your lists? <\/span>\u2318<\/span>1 will get you there.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Want to edit a <\/span>t<\/span>ask<\/span>? You don\u2019t need to go into the detail view to do that in the Mac<\/span> <\/span>app<\/span>\u2014<\/span>you <\/span>can do it straight from your list view. Select the task <\/span>you want to edit <\/span>and then click on the text in order to edit the task name. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

If you use <\/span>tags<\/span> then you\u2019ll be very happy to know that we have a tag menu that will pop up whenever you type # in a list name. Using a productivity system like GTD (Getting Things Done)? You can add tags like #home #computer #work or #waiting to your task names and <\/span>use<\/span> <\/span>the menu <\/span>to<\/span> quickly add these tags to future <\/span>task<\/span>s. Click on the tag and you\u2019ll see all the tasks with that tag name across all your lists. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
