Ultimate<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Steven Mayles, the original character designer of the bird and bear, said he was &#8220;pleased&#8221; to see the delightful duo return to their spiritual home after 11 years in the wild and jokingly added &#8220;Dixie Kong&#8221; was next.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really pleased for all the passionate Banjo fans who never lost faith that their heroes would one day come back!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Chris Sutherland, who was the lead programmer on the original Banjo games, explained how it was great to see the Nintendo 64 stars back in action.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the positive reception, Kirkhope still has his doubts about a future installment in the Banjo-Kazooie series \u2013 and doesn&#8217;t think it would sell enough.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think Rare has the appetite for it&#8230;I don\u2019t think they believe it would sell, and even in my mind I\u2019m not sure. It\u2019s easy to get wrapped up in my Twitter feed, but that\u2019s just a tiny audience in comparison.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He also believes there&#8217;s no chance of the original team getting back together, so it&#8217;s dependant on who Rare and Microsoft asked to work on in it in the future.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;They\u2019d have to find the right people to do it. Ubisoft Milan were perfect for Mario, for example, and the Killer Instinct guys did a good job.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Right now, though, the composer is simply happy Rare&#8217;s mascots have returned to their spiritual home and thinks fans would agree with him.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;They were born on Nintendo consoles. I feel that their home is with Nintendo, but that\u2019s just my personal opinion and I think the fans definitely agree.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><em>Would you like to see a new entry in the Banjo-Kazooie series?
