Although the character&#8217;s first game sold poorly due to the fact the Game Boy Advance was already out, Shantae was able to bounce back later on in 2010 and has never looked back.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the big occasion, WayForward posted the following message on its Twitter account:<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Happy birthday to the original Shantae!
