Once again, we’ve made it all the way to the end of a busy week. We’ve had all the leaked images and info for Mario Kart Tour<\/strong><\/a> and a controversial Pok\u00e9mon competition<\/a> to keep an eye on over the last few days, but now it’s time to sit down and chat about the games we’ll be playing over the weekend. This weekend is Memorial Weekend in the States, so my family will be spending it together at our lake home, where my brothers and I will likely be pulling out the old Sega Genesis and Wii that we have stashed there. Some good old Sonic<\/a><\/strong>, Ristar<\/a><\/strong>, and Wii Sports<\/a><\/strong> are in order – all played on a classic 1990s-era television set. Ah, the memories.<\/p>\n

This weekend I shall be mostly trying to play the games I didn\u2019t get round to last weekend<\/em>. Although I did manage to unlock the Game Boy skin in Tetris 99<\/a><\/strong> and play a little Overcooked 2<\/a><\/strong>, both Windjammers<\/a><\/strong> and Capcom Beat \u2018Em Up Bundle<\/a><\/strong> fell by the wayside when the codes for three Resident Evil<\/strong>‘s arrived in my inbox Friday evening. So I’ll be catching up on last weekend’s plans. I’ve got a little money sitting in my eShop balance, too, so I might peruse the sale one last time to see if anything jumps out at me. My backlog’s so big, one or two more won’t hurt.<\/p>\n
