Last November, the developer and publisher QUByte released 99Vidas<\/strong><\/a> on the Switch eShop. The 16-bit title was created in conjunction with 99Vidas – Brazil’s most popular video game podcast – and aimed to recreate the magic of the beat ’em up golden era, when games such as Final Fight<\/a><\/strong>, Double Dragon<\/strong><\/a>, Battletoads<\/a><\/strong>, Golden Axe<\/strong><\/a> and Streets of Rage<\/a><\/strong> were in their prime.<\/p>\n

Now, months later, physical distributor Strictly Limited Games has revealed 99Vidas will receive a print run for Switch. This copy of the game will include “The Last Battle” DLC and is limited to 3,000 copies. Pre-orders open on 26th May (aka. this Sunday). Even the box art seems to channel the 16-bit era:<\/p>\n
