Both&nbsp;<strong>UVW Remove&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Reset Xform&nbsp;<\/strong>must be performed before attempting to unwrap any of the sword parts.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure you have selected the sword part that you want to unwrap (blade, handle, hand guard etc.). The object must now be converted into an editable mesh. To do this&nbsp;<strong>Right Click&nbsp;<\/strong>on the object and select&nbsp;<strong>Convert to Editable Mesh<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"post_image\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Convert to Editable Mesh\" src=\"https:\/\/cms-assets.tutsplus.com\/uploads\/users\/403\/posts\/29951\/image\/lowpoly_sword_blade_mesh.jpg\"><figcaption>Convert to Editable Mesh<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Step 2<\/h3>\n<p>Then go to the&nbsp;<strong>Utilities Tab<\/strong> and click on the&nbsp;<strong>More<\/strong> button. Use the&nbsp;<strong>Move Tool&nbsp;<\/strong>and the&nbsp;<strong>Scale Tool <\/strong>located in&nbsp;the top right of the window to move the object within the square.
