Today, in addition to State of Decay we also have some exciting news to share about flighting additional\u00a0Windows\u00a0Gaming features. In the coming days \/ weeks \/ months \u2013 you will find us using this flight ring to give you a preview of the latest and greatest things we are building for our gaming audience.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To get\u00a0everything this ring has to offer, we would recommend that you are on Windows\u00a010 version\u00a018329<\/b>\u00a0or higher.\u00a0But\u00a0there is something even for\u00a0those of you\u00a0who\u00a0are\u00a0on older versions of Windows\u00a010 (17763<\/b>).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

REMINDER:<\/b>\u00a0BattlEye\u00a0software (used by\u00a0Fortnite,\u00a0PlayerUnknown\u2019s\u00a0Battlegrounds and other popular games) does not work correctly with builds flighted to the Windows Insider Fast ring since December. If you have a machine that is not already enrolled in Windows Insider Fast, and you play games that use\u00a0BattlEye\u00a0software, we recommend you do not join Windows Insider Fast on that personal computer. We are working closely with\u00a0BattlEye\u00a0and individual games are being updated with new\u00a0BattlEye\u00a0software to make sure they work properly with new Windows builds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Here is a quick\u00a0<\/b>overview\u00a0<\/b>of the instructions<\/b>\u00a0to join the ring:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. If you have an Xbox Live Gamertag\u202f(you\u202fmost likely\u202fhave one already\u202fif you are reading this!), go to step 2 below. If you don\u2019t have a Gamertag, use your Microsoft Account (MSA) to log into\u202fhttps:\/\/account.xbox.com<\/a>\u202fand create an Xbox account. Once completed, you will see your Gamertag in the top right of the page.\u202f\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Install the\u202fXbox Insider Hub\u202fapp\u202fon the PC you\u2019ll be flighting on\u00a0(link opens in Store app).\u202f\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Sign in to the Xbox Insider Hub with your Gamertag.\u202f\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Select\u202fInsider Content<\/b>\u202fin the upper left\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Select Windows Gaming\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. If you are on\u00a018329\u00a0<\/b>or higher<\/b>, you\u00a0will\u00a0be automatically enrolled into\u00a0Game bar<\/b>. You can then manually enroll into the flight for\u00a0State of Decay: Year One<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. If you are on\u00a017763<\/b>, you will be\u00a0automatically\u00a0enrolled only into the\u00a0Game bar<\/b>\u00a0flight\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
