You may remember that, just last month, a total of 22 SNES games were spotted<\/a> in the Nintendo Switch Online – Nintendo Entertainment System app. Ever since, and especially with Nintendo’s public commitment to “boost the appeal<\/a>” of its Switch Online service, we’ve been practically convinced that SNES games will make it to the console in the near future.<\/p>\n

In an interesting turn of events, though, today’s NES app update<\/a> has reportedly removed all mention of the SNES titles previously discovered. Twitter user @itssimontime<\/a>, who claims to data mine games, has spotted the change today, with his tweet being shared by previous leaker and data miner, @KapuccinoHeck<\/a>.<\/p>\n
