Ultimate<\/a><\/strong> fans have apparently lost their minds after Microsoft\u2019s Xbox Game Pass Twitter account reached out to Nintendo of America\u2019s Twitter account on National Compliment Day.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft\u2019s social account sent a single tweet in Nintendo&#8217;s direction, revealing its love for the ultimate Smash Bros. entry on Switch. It was the wording of the tweet that encouraged fans to wildly speculate:<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NintendoAmerica?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@NintendoAmerica<\/a> We really really dig Super Smash Bros Ultimate <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/nationalcomplimentday?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#nationalcomplimentday<\/a><\/span>\u2014 Xbox Game Pass (@XboxGamePass) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/XboxGamePass\/status\/1088559796687593472?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 24, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p>For a number of fans, this is apparently enough evidence Steve &#8211; the default avatar in <strong><a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/minecraft\">Minecraft<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a DLC character. Alternatively, this could be nothing more than a play on words because Microsoft now owns the Minecraft IP and the game happens to be available on multiple Nintendo platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Joker from <strong>Persona 5<\/strong> is currently the only DLC character we know about right now (excluding Piranha Plant).
