Expect to get an inside perspective on working at Atari, the nuts and bolts of arcade game design in the &#8217;80s, and the untold story of developing a now-classic game.<\/p>\n<p>As always, this Classic Game Postmortem will be\u00a0an\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/schedule.gdconf.com\/session\/classic-game-postmortem-the-span-classhighlightbardspans-tale-i-and-ii\/852119\">hour-long <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/schedule.gdconf.com\/session\/classic-game-postmortem-diablo?_mc=BP_LE_CON\">session<\/a>, and it&#8217;s just one of many fantastic classic game retrospectives on offer at this year&#8217;s show!<\/p>\n<p>There will also be a fantastic <a href=\"https:\/\/gdconf.com\/news\/gdc-2019-host-classic-game-postmortem-lemmings\">Classic Game Postmortem on the original\u00a0<em>Lemmings<\/em><\/a>, presented by <em>Lemmings\u00a0<\/em>co-creator Mike Dailly, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/gdconf.com\/news\/look-forward-command-conquer-classic-game-postmortem-gdc-2019\">one on the traiblazing\u00a0real-time strategy game\u00a0<\/a><em><a href=\"https:\/\/gdconf.com\/news\/look-forward-command-conquer-classic-game-postmortem-gdc-2019\">Command &amp; Conquer<\/a> <\/em>from Westwood Studios cofounder Louis Castle!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Further details on these\u00a0talks and many more are available now on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/schedule.gdconf.com\/\">GDC 2019\u00a0Session Scheduler<\/a>.
