U Deluxe<\/strong><\/a> has gone straight in at number one.<\/p>\n<p>The game has managed to outperform its original release, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/wiiu\/new_super_mario_bros_u\"><strong>New Super Mario Bros. U<\/strong><\/a> for Wii U, by a comfortable margin, selling 24.8% more physical copies in its opening week. NSMBUD is the fourth Switch game to hit number one in the UK, following <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/super_smash_bros_ultimate\"><strong>Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/strong><\/a> last month, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/mario_tennis_aces\"><strong>Mario Tennis Aces<\/strong><\/a> last summer, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/mario_kart_8_deluxe\"><strong>Mario Kart 8 Deluxe<\/strong><\/a> back in April 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Nintendo has also managed to claim fifth and sixth spots this week, with Mario and the gang making their presence felt across the board.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a look at this week&#8217;s top ten all formats chart (physical sales only):<\/p>\n<p>1.
