{"id":7408,"date":"2017-12-08T11:30:00","date_gmt":"2017-12-08T11:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2017\/12\/fifa_18_nets_a_sizeable_update_on_switch"},"modified":"2017-12-08T11:30:00","modified_gmt":"2017-12-08T11:30:00","slug":"fifa-18-nets-a-sizeable-update-on-switch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sickgaming.net\/blog\/2017\/12\/08\/fifa-18-nets-a-sizeable-update-on-switch\/","title":{"rendered":"FIFA 18 Nets A Sizeable Update On Switch"},"content":{"rendered":"<aside class=\"picture embed centered picture-900x img-900x\">\n<div class=\"img\"><a title=\"He must have a foot like a traction engine\" href=\"http:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/news\/2017\/12\/fifa_18_nets_a_sizeable_update_on_switch\/attachment\/0\/large.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/news\/2017\/12\/fifa_18_nets_a_sizeable_update_on_switch\/attachment\/0\/900x.jpg\" alt=\"He must have a foot like a traction engine\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Electronic Arts has just pushed out a large update for <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/fifa_18\">FIFA 18<\/a><\/strong> which fixes a wide range of issues and bugs present in the title.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a comprehensive list of everything that&#8217;s changed:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Addressed the following issues in Gameplay:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>+ The FIFA Trainer Shot Elevation arrow was resetting its extension after shooting the ball.<br \/>+ The FIFA Trainer Pass Receiver indicator not correctly showing the player getting the ball on short passes.<br \/>+ Discrepancy between the two kicking power bars, the one above the goalkeeper and the one on the gameplay HUD, when taking a goal kick.<br \/>+ Smoothed out the movement of the Set Piece Target indicator.<br \/>+ Loss of controller functionality during the halftime flow if the Joy-Con controllers are changed from Handheld mode to Tabletop mode.<br \/>+ The kicking power bar did not reset if the player changed the Joy-Con controllers from Handheld mode to Tabletop mode.<br \/>+ The Approach Speed buttons were being displayed on the Penalty Kick Tutorial screen when using the Joy-Con controller in Solo mode.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Addressed the following issues in FIFA Ultimate team:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>+ Squad Building Challenge Reward items being incorrectly tagged as Loan items in some situations.<br \/>+ Missing pack art on Premium Gold Packs in some situations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Addressed the following issues in Online Modes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>+ A crash in Local Seasons if the player quickly re-enters the mode after quitting out of a Local Seasons match.<br \/>+ Players always having the same country flag as you when in the Compare Stats screen on the Online Leaderboards.<br \/>+ Debug text on a matchmaking error message.<br \/>+ Made the text on the Settings tile in Local Seasons easier to see.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Addressed the following issues in Career Mode:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>+ A freeze when proceeding into the second Pre-Season Tournament match in certain situations.<br \/>+ Incorrectly loading a Player Career save file when selecting &#8216;Continue Manager Career&#8221; if the player skipped the initial save file creation flow.<br \/>+ Penalty shootout results were not showing on the Tournament Tree when playing the game in some languages.<br \/>+ Debug text on the My Career screen if you get fired from the MLS and take a job in a league that starts their season in July.<br \/>+ Banners missing from the North America All-Stars Pre-Season Tournament.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Made the following changes in Audio \/ Visual \/ Presentation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>+ Updates to a number of crests and kits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Addressed the following issues Audio \/ Visual \/ Presentation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>+ The numbers and names on kits were not getting dirty after performing a slide tackle.<br \/>+ Corrections to some of the localized Trophy names.<br \/>+ The Live Form arrows were overlapping player stats on the Team Management screens in some languages.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Have you downloaded the update?
