They make for some interesting reading this week, with the release of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/xenoblade_chronicles_2\">Xenoblade Chronicles 2<\/a><\/strong> being of particular interest.<\/p>\n<p>Monolith Soft&#8217;s title had a pretty decent launch on Switch, securing second place behind <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/3ds\/pokemon_ultra_sun_and_ultra_moon\">Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon<\/a><\/strong> as the best-selling new release. Its sales of 97,972 units surpass the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2015\/05\/xenoblade_chronicles_x_and_dragon_quest_help_wii_u_to_top_spot_in_japan\">equivalent launch figures<\/a>of\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/wiiu\/xenoblade_chronicles_x\">Xenoblade Chronicles X<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and even the Wii original; that&#8217;s a positive early result for the JRPG.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond that it&#8217;s an all-Nintendo top five, with\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/3ds\/kirby_battle_royale\">Kirby Battle Royale<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>making its debut in 5th place. Going further down we see\u00a0<strong>Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates<\/strong> for 3DS in 12th place, while <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/resident_evil_revelations_collection\">Resident Evil Revelations Collection<\/a><\/strong> only managed 6,540 sales in 14th. Another new entry on Switch is\u00a0<strong>Nobunaga&#8217;s Ambition: Taishi<\/strong> down in 17th spot.
