Titled <em>Bridge Constructor Portal<\/em>, the game features GLaDOS\u00a0and various other trademarks from the series.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.headupgames.com\/conpresso\/_rubric\/detail.php?rubric=EN+Startseite&amp;nr=5127&amp;PHPSESSID=7de455c299d5a8f4a2b69ae7d067ac3f\">As Headup&#8217;s announcement points out<\/a>, the new game (which they&#8217;ve reportedly been working on for a year or so) makes full use of the <em>Porta<\/em>l license.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s an interesting move by Valve, which has a history of licensing out characters from its game franchises but has never really allowed another dev to make a full standalone <em>Portal game<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The studio is best known for creating <em>Bridge Constructor<\/em>, where players create and design constructions and watch as vehicles pass over them to see how the structural integrity of their creation holds up against the laws of physics.<\/p>\n<p>The game is set to release\u00a0on December 20 2017 for Windows, MacOS, Linux and mobile.\u00a0The console versions will follow in early 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Headup\u00a0Games has revealed its\u00a0next installment to the series will be\u00a0utilizing elements from Valve&#8217;s Portal.
