Gone are the days of black and white pixels on a green screen. Since we saw those rough-looking 3D Pok\u00e9mon in <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/n64\/pokemon_snap\"><strong>Pok\u00e9mon Snap<\/strong><\/a>, we&#8217;ve had to wait until 2013 to play a main series Pok\u00e9mon game in <em>proper<\/em> 3D.<\/p>\n<p>Now, a new graphical dawn has begun thanks to the recent release of <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/reviews\/nintendo-switch\/pokemon_lets_go_pikachu_and_lets_go_eevee\"><strong>Pok\u00e9mon: Let&#8217;s Go! Pikachu and Eevee<\/strong><\/a>, but how do the Pok\u00e9mon from the Nintendo 3DS games hold up when compared to their HD versions?<\/p>\n<p>Our friend <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=j7xEXEePXxE\">HoodlumScrafty<\/a> recently took an in-depth look at Pok\u00e9mon in both <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/reviews\/3ds\/pokemon_omega_ruby_and_alpha_sapphire\"><strong>Pok\u00e9mon Alpha Sapphire<\/strong><\/a> as well as Pok\u00e9mon: Let&#8217;s Go! Pikachu and Eevee to compare and contrast the &#8216;mon. One thing to note is that the Pok\u00e9mon themselves have the same animation between the games.
