As you can see, the tweet states that &#8220;quality matters most&#8221;, suggesting that a new focus has been placed on improving the state of the game before it hits store shelves.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hey guys! To make Team Sonic Racing the best game it can be, we\u2019re giving the team extra time to work on it. Thanks for your patience \u2013 we\u2019ve got more to show you for TSR very soon!<\/p>\n<p><\/span>\u2014 Sonic the Hedgehog (@sonic_hedgehog) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sonic_hedgehog\/status\/1055490414382219264?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 25, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Of course, rumours had recently begun to circulate suggesting that this delay was about to be announced, and it doesn&#8217;t really come as a great surprise; early impressions from those who have had time with the game via events and exhibitions have noted that it seemed a little on the weak side, with our very own Alex Olney saying that &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/10\/rumour_promo_booklet_suggests_team_sonic_racing_might_be_delayed_until_2019\">it ran like a dog, and not a very athletic dog<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>The tweet also promises that more will be shown about the game &#8220;very soon&#8221;, presumably in the form of updated trailers or content information.
