Earlier this year, it was revealed the game had become the highest selling third-party title on the Switch &#8211; placing the French-based publisher in the overall lead in terms of third-party sales on the platform. More <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/05\/nintendo_switch_only_accounted_for_7_percent_of_ubisofts_yearly_revenue\">recently<\/a>, Ubisoft&#8217;s full-year sales and earnings figures for the 2017-18 period showed seven percent of its sales were attributed to the Mario and Rabbid crossover &#8211; with <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/09\/mario_plus_rabbids_on_nintendo_switch_has_sold_more_than_two_million_copies\">more than<\/a> two million copies sold. If that wasn&#8217;t enough, <strong><a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/starlink_battle_for_atlas\">Starlink: Battle for Atlas<\/a><\/strong> on Switch looks to be the most anticipated version of the game &#8211; all because of a cameo from the <strong><a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/snes\/star_fox\">Star Fox<\/a><\/strong> crew.<\/p>\n<p>Ubisoft is obviously happy with the current arrangement, as it&#8217;s now sending out surveys to its email subscribers asking about their favourite characters in the Mario universe. As shown by a user on <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BrybryPokebip\">Twitter<\/a> (see below), on one page there is Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi, Rosalina and Peach, and on the other is Daisy, the Koopalings, Bowser Jr., Birdo, Kamek and Bowser. As Ubisoft has not explained why it is asking this question, there&#8217;s now <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/mynintendonews.com\/2018\/10\/10\/ubisoft-sending-out-survey-regarding-nintendo-characters-possibly-for-next-project\/\">speculation<\/a> it is linked to a potential sequel for Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle or it&#8217;s for an entirely new crossover game set in the Mario universe.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"fr\" dir=\"ltr\">Ubisoft demande \u00e0 quel point on aime certains personnages de Nintendo&#8230; Nouveau cross-over en perspective ? <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hrmH1i2Bwc\">pic.twitter.com\/hrmH1i2Bwc<\/a><\/span>\u2014 Brybry (@BrybryPokebip) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BrybryPokebip\/status\/1050045267964321792?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 10, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p>It would not be a surprise if Ubisoft wanted to continue with Nintendo crossovers. Not long ago, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot was <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/09\/ubisoft_ceo_says_sticking_with_nintendo_in_difficult_times_has_helped_their_relationship\">asked<\/a> about a potential sequel to Mario + Rabbids and replied with the following comment:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I can&#8217;t say&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[Laughs] I can&#8217;t give you an answer yet.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><em>What do you make of this survey?
