What&#8217;s interesting about SGI machines is how Nintendo, at the time, developed N64 games on the hardware; the console&#8217;s internals were jointly developed by SGI.<\/p>\n<p>As noted by <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/2018\/10\/8\/17951940\/mario-64-ui-onyx-silicon-graphics\">Polygon<\/a>, the creator of the video points out the similarities between &#8216;buttonfly&#8217; &#8211; a 3D graphics menu used to launch 3D graphics demos &#8211; and the main menu in <strong><a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/n64\/super_mario_64\">Super Mario 64<\/a><\/strong>.
