Not long ago, it was revealed Telltale had potentially been thrown a <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/09\/telltale_games_offered_lifeline_might_allow_the_walking_dead_to_be_completed\">lifeline<\/a> when multiple partners stepped forward and expressed interest in helping see <strong><a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/walking_dead_the_final_season\">The Final Season<\/a><\/strong> through to completion.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s now been confirmed Skybound Games will take over the publishing and development of the final episodes of The Walking Dead. Creator of The Walking Dead and also the founder of Skybound Entertainment Robert Kirkman made it official at New York&#8217;s Comic-Con:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We\u2019ll be taking over Telltale\u2019s \u2018The Walking Dead\u2019 to finish Clem\u2019s story&#8230;We can\u2019t lose Clementine and Rick in the same year.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The news was also confirmed over on the Skybound <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/skyboundgames\">Twitter account<\/a>, with the company revealing it would be responsible for completing Clem&#8217;s journey. The aim is to keep the original development team intact as Skybound works with former Telltale leaders to come to an agreement.
