{"id":5229,"date":"2017-11-14T16:30:00","date_gmt":"2017-11-14T16:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2017\/11\/destiny_and_titanfall_artist_is_bringing_the_pixar-like_sleep_tight_to_switch"},"modified":"2017-11-14T16:30:00","modified_gmt":"2017-11-14T16:30:00","slug":"destiny-and-titanfall-artist-is-bringing-the-pixar-like-sleep-tight-to-switch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sickgaming.net\/blog\/2017\/11\/14\/destiny-and-titanfall-artist-is-bringing-the-pixar-like-sleep-tight-to-switch\/","title":{"rendered":"Destiny And Titanfall Artist Is Bringing The Pixar-like Sleep Tight To Switch"},"content":{"rendered":"<aside class=\"object object-youtube\">\n<div class=\"youtube\">[embedded content] <\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Indie studio We Are Fuzzy has announced that it is bringing the twin-stick shooter <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/sleep_tight\">Sleep Tight<\/a><\/strong> to the Switch in Q1 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Studio co-founder Maxx Burman &#8211; whose art and visual effects credits include <strong>Far Cry 5, League of Legends, Call of Duty, Destiny,\u00a0Westwood<\/strong> and <strong>Titanfall<\/strong> &#8211; has assembled a team of &#8220;AAA and Hollywood&#8221; veterans which includes Disney artists who have worked on the likes of <strong>Big Hero 6<\/strong> and <strong>Wreck It Ralph<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sleep Tight is described as an &#8220;adrenaline pumping arcade-style, twin-stick shooter with base-building elements&#8221; and seeks to emulate the &#8220;charming&#8221; world of Pixar movies. In the game, you assume the role of a child who spends the day building pillow forts in preparation for the incoming flood of monsters that appears when the lights go out. Weapons include foam dart-guns, water balloon launchers and other toys. After 10 years of working on other people&#8217;s projects, it was time to make my own, and I wanted to go back to that feeling of pure play. I feel fortunate to work with such talented artists to bring this Pixar-esque world to life.
