Since its initial launch in 2015, its community has grown more and more thanks to the game&#8217;s release on multiple platforms &#8211; including the Nintendo Switch &#8211; and the addition of cross-play, minus Sony&#8217;s PlayStation.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent tweet, developer Psyonix revealed Rocket League now had more than 50 million players worldwide, with an ever-growing global community. Additional Rocket League news from earlier this week included the announcement of a second <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/09\/new_hot_wheels-themed_dlc_for_rocket_league_speeds_onto_switch_next_week\">Hot Wheels DLC pack<\/a> to celebrate the toy car&#8217;s 50th anniversary.
