As CNBC recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2018\/09\/12\/top-schools-like-wharton-seeing-demand-for-bitcoin-blockchain-classes.html\">reported<\/a>: \u201cAccording to <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.coinbase.com\/the-rise-of-crypto-in-higher-education-81b648c2466f\">a new survey of 675 U.S. undergraduate students<\/a> by cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and Qriously, 9 percent of students have already taken a class related to blockchain or cryptocurrency and 26 percent want to take one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>College course offerings include &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedp.com\/article\/2018\/09\/blockchain-cryptocurrency-wharton-engineering-mba-ripple-project-upenn-philadelphia\">Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and Distributed Ledger Technology<\/a>&#8221; taught by Kevin Werbach and engineering professor David Crosbie at the University of Pennsylvania; and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/berkeley-blockchain.github.io\/cs294-151-f18\/\">Blockchain and CryptoEconomics<\/a>,&#8221; taught by computer science professor Dawn Song at the University of California at Berkeley.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, job postings related to blockchain and Hyperledger are taking off, and knowledge in these areas is translating into opportunity. Careers website Glassdoor lists thousands of job posts related to blockchain. <\/p>\n<p>Effectively, blockchain is becoming part of the required lingua franca for those entering the world of business <a href=\"https:\/\/jaxenter.com\/blockchain-training-courses-linux-149415.html\">as well as others<\/a>.
