Earlier this month, we then found out the release date, with the game scheduled to arrive on 11th January 2019. This update was delivered in the form of a <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/09\/tales_of_vesperia_definitive_edition_secures_a_january_release_date_on_switch\">tweet<\/a> alongside the reveal of a lovely &#8220;special edition&#8221; steelbook.<\/p>\n<p>Bandai Namco has now revealed a limited anniversary bundle for the game&#8217;s US release, containing the game, a memorial artbook, steelbook case, and exclusive diorama display case including 3 acrylic character key chains. This also led to some confusion after fans noticed the game&#8217;s box art in the photo mentioned a download was required. Bandai Namco explained this was not the case:<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Apologies for the confusion, that is not the final box art for the Switch version and it WILL ship on a 16 GB cart, NO additional download will be required.
