Perhaps unsurprisingly, but still new for the series, is the announcement of an expansion pass.<\/p>\n<p>The pass will have a relatively hefty price (EU below), but include five sets of content. When the game lands this&#8217;ll just be &#8216;helpful items&#8217;, but a new quest will arrive in January with regular updates through 2018 that&#8217;ll culminate in new story content in Autumn \/ Fall 2018.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"picture strip\">\n<div class=\"img\"><a href=\"http:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/news\/2017\/11\/xenoblade_chronicles_2_gets_expansion_pass_and_surprise_breath_of_the_wild_crossover\/attachment\/1\/original.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/news\/2017\/11\/xenoblade_chronicles_2_gets_expansion_pass_and_surprise_breath_of_the_wild_crossover\/attachment\/1\/original.jpg\" alt=\"Xenoblade 2 expansion pass.JPG\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Also confirmed is a rather quirky crossover with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/legend_of_zelda_breath_of_the_wild\"><strong>The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild<\/strong><\/a>, in which you can do a new quest to get a Rex outfit for Link.
