Its most recent release <strong><a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/mobile\/animal_crossing_pocket_camp\">Animal Crossing:\u00a0Pocket Camp<\/a><\/strong> has hit a revenue milestone. Sensor Tower describes it as a\u00a0&#8220;major&#8221; accomplishment, with the app based on the popular lifestyle simulation series now reaching $50 million in player spending globally. Back in June, it grossed $35 million worldwide following its release last November.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Sensor Tower chart below shows how this game has performed against previous releases in Nintendo&#8217;s mobile line. It&#8217;s taken Pocket Camp an additional two months to reach the $50 million mark compared to <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/mobile\/super_mario_run\"><strong>Super Mario Run<\/strong><\/a>. <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/mobile\/fire_emblem_heroes\"><strong>Fire Emblem Heroes<\/strong><\/a> achieved this in 20 days and has now grossed more than $400 million since its release in the first quarter of 2017.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"picture strip\">\n<div class=\"img\"><a title=\"Sensor Tower Animal Crossing Pocket Camp\" href=\"http:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/c39fd25be1da3\/sensor-tower-animal-crossing-pocket-camp.original.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/c39fd25be1da3\/sensor-tower-animal-crossing-pocket-camp.900x.jpg\" alt=\"Sensor Tower Animal Crossing Pocket Camp\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Pocket Camp&#8217;s main revenue has come from Japan &#8211; with players located within this country responsible for 81 percent of in-app spending. The US placed second with 14 percent of in-app purchases.
