Fortunately, third-party developers aren&#8217;t being as tight-lipped\u00a0as Nintendo. Following the <strong><a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/arena_of_valor\">Arena of Valor<\/a><\/strong> developer Tencent <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/08\/tencent_confirms_free-to-play_titles_wont_be_impacted_by_nintendo_switch_online\">confirming<\/a> free-to-play games would remain accessible after online services launched on Nintendo&#8217;s device, Blizzard has now revealed more information about the incoming cloud services.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/nintendosoup.com\/heres-how-cloud-saves-work-on-nintendo-switch\/\">Nintendo Soup<\/a>, <strong><a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/diablo_iii_eternal_collection\">Diablo III Eternal Collection<\/a><\/strong> associate producer Matt Cederquist revealed save files for games on the Switch will be automatically uploaded to cloud services on a regular basis, with no manual user action required. How frequently online saves will be backed up is unknown.<\/p>\n<p>Cederquist also explained how save\u00a0data in the cloud would be seamlessly transferable to other Nintendo Switch systems &#8211; allowing players to continue their session on a friend or family member&#8217;s device.
