Critically, LFN has also continues to attract support and participation from many of the world\u2019s top network operators, including\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxfoundation.org\/networking-orchestration\/2018\/05\/lf-networking-continues-momentum-as-additional-global-carriers-align-around-open-source-networking\/\">six new members announced<\/a>\u00a0in May: KT, KDDI, SK Telecom, Sprint, Swisscom; and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxfoundation.org\/press-release\/2018\/07\/deutsche-telekom-joins-the-linux-foundation-deepens-investment-in-open-source-networking\/\">Deutsche Telekom<\/a>\u00a0announced just last month. In fact, member companies of LFN now represent more than 60% of the world\u2019s mobile subscribers. Open source is becoming the de facto way to develop software and it\u2019s the technical collaboration at the project level that makes it so powerful.<\/p>\n<p>Similar to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxfoundation.org\/blog\/2018\/03\/rubber-meet-road-x-project-collaboration-demos-ons\/\">demos in the LFN Booth at ONS North America<\/a>, the LFN Booth at ONS Europe will once again showcase the top, community-led, technical demos from the LFN family of projects. We have increased the number of demo stations from 8 to 10, and for the first time, are showcasing demos from the big data analytics project\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pnda.io\/\">PNDA<\/a>, and demos that include the newly added LFN Project,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tungsten.io\/\">Tungsten Fabric<\/a>\u00a0(formerly OpenContrail).
