In its latest <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.ghostlight.uk.com\/\">blog post<\/a>, the UK-based company Ghostlight has revealed it&#8217;s now officially a Switch developer &#8211; with its first JRPG port for the system currently underway.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the announcement from Ross Brierly, the Community Manager and PR of Ghostlight:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>All the paperwork has gone through and I can tell you that we are now\u00a0official Switch developers, and so are able to bring fantastic Japanese games to Nintendo Switch,\u00a0as well as to PC! In fact,\u00a0we\u2019ve already started work on our first port, a JRPG, that I\u2019m not able to reveal just yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>While we love bringing games to PC, working on the Switch has been an awful lot of fun. It\u2019s been a long time since I\u2019ve worked on anything for\u00a0console, the most recent game was\u00a0Flame Over, and the most recent one\u00a0for\u00a0Ghostlight\u00a0was\u00a0Elminage\u00a0Gothic,\u00a0back in 2013, so it\u2019s great to be back on console!\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I hope you\u2019re all looking forward to our Nintendo Switch releases as much as we are, and please stay tuned for more information on which JRPG we\u2019re going to be bringing to Switch in the near future.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ghostlight was originally established in 2004 and has previously specialised in bringing Japanese games to Europe. It has also released games on the Nintendo DS, Wii and 3DS, and in the past has published entries in the <strong>Persona<\/strong>, <strong>Shin<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Megami Tensei<\/strong>, and the\u00a0<strong>Way of the Samurai<\/strong>\u00a0series. It&#8217;s also handled <strong>The<\/strong> <strong>Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky<\/strong> and worked on the\u00a0<strong>Devil Survivor<\/strong>\u00a0series.<\/p>\n<p><em>Are you a fan of any of Ghostlight&#8217;s past work?
