Until now, of course.<\/p>\n<p>Shared by <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShaneMarchis\/status\/1025138749749919744\">Shane Marchis<\/a> on Twitter, the image below shows the spot where a lone Metroid can be found, casually swimming in the background minding its own business for a change. Of course, with Retro Studios being the developer behind both Tropical\u00a0Freeze, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/wii\/metroid_prime_trilogy\"><strong>Metroid Prime<\/strong><\/a> series, this is a lovely little crossover moment that teases the idea of the two worlds somehow being connected.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Found the elusive Metroid cameo in Tropical Freeze! As explained by the folks over at <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BpoLdt1e5-s&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;a=\">GameXplain<\/a>, the Metroid can be found in level 4-3 Amiss Abyss, heading past the first checkpoint until you reach the illuminated underwater area. From here, you have to swim forwards out of that area, before returning back again &#8211; taking damage along the way &#8211; to watch the Metroid float up from the bottom of the screen.
