New details revealed for Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun and Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Moon<\/h2>\n

The Pok\u00e9mon Company International and Nintendo have revealed more details for the highly anticipated games Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun<\/em><\/a> and Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Moon<\/em><\/a>. In Pok\u00e9mon Sun<\/em><\/a> and Pok\u00e9mon Moon<\/em><\/a> Trainers would be able to take part in the Island Challenge. In Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun<\/em> and Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Moon<\/em>, the Island Challenge returns but this time some of the challenges are different and there is an additional new Trial. As players work through the Island Challenge they will be confronted with trouble involving the Legendary Pok\u00e9mon Necrozma. Trainers will meet mysterious people and Pok\u00e9mon as they witness the new dangers closing in on the Alola region.<\/p>\n

More than 400 Pok\u00e9mon will be discoverable in Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun<\/em> and Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Moon<\/em>, many of which were not available in Pok\u00e9mon Sun<\/em> and Pok\u00e9mon Moon<\/em>. Some of these Pok\u00e9mon will only appear depending on which version of the game is played. For example, in the same patch of tall grass where Houndoom will appear in Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun<\/em>, Manectric will appear in Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Moon<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In the Alola region you can ride Pok\u00e9mon in many areas and have them help you out on your journey. Now, in Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun<\/em> and Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Moon<\/em> you can ride the waves on the vast ocean with Mantine, thanks to the brand-new Mantine Surf. Mantine Surf isn\u2019t just a way to get between the islands of Alola, but it is also a sport in its own right, with Trainers competing for the highest score by pulling off a variety of radical moves. Become a pro and pull off some super cool tricks across Alola\u2019s sea with Mantine Surf!<\/p>\n

Another new feature making its way to Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun<\/em> and Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Moon<\/em> is the Alola Photo Club. Trainers can now take photos together with their Pok\u00e9mon and choose backgrounds, camera angles, Trainer outfits, poses and more to capture amazing images. After the shoot, players can decorate the photos with cool frames and over 100 different stickers to create the perfect photo. These photos can then be shared with other players through communication features on the Nintendo 3DS<\/a> family of systems. When players take photos with their Pok\u00e9mon, their Pok\u00e9mon will become more affectionate towards them.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun<\/em> and Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Moon<\/em> are also scheduled to be compatible with the Pok\u00e9mon Global Link, a linked website that allows users to connect with other players all over the worlds using saved and gameplay data from their Pok\u00e9mon series games, when they launch globally on November 17 2017.<\/p>\n

Today also sees the launch of three Pok\u00e9mon video games. The first of these is Pokk\u00e9n Tournament DX<\/em><\/a> for the Nintendo Switch Console, which includes all the content from both the Wii U and arcade versions of Pokk\u00e9n Tournament<\/em><\/a>. Pokk\u00e9n Tournament DX<\/em> introduces an array of exciting new features to create the ultimate Pokk\u00e9n experience. Features include the brand new fighter Decidueye, new support Pok\u00e9mon Litten and Popplio, new battle modes, daily challenges and more. Thanks to the Nintendo Switch, you can now play Pokk\u00e9n anytime and anywhere. Play Pokk\u00e9n Tournament DX<\/em> in TV mode, handheld mode, or share a Joy-Con controller with another Trainer to battle one-on-one in tabletop mode anywhere. Pokk\u00e9n Tournament DX<\/em> is available to purchase at retail and in Nintendo eShop.<\/p>\n

The second titles in the Pok\u00e9mon Series, Pok\u00e9mon Gold Version<\/em><\/a> and Pok\u00e9mon Silver Version<\/em><\/a>, are also launching today on Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Fan favorite titles, and originally among the first mainstream RPG games to appear on the Game Boy Color, Pok\u00e9mon Gold<\/em> and Pok\u00e9mon Silver<\/em> continued to expand the Pok\u00e9mon universe, adding 100 Pok\u00e9mon, held items and real-time events, thanks to an internal game clock. Featuring wireless communication functionality, the new Virtual Console versions of the games allow Trainers to trade and battle wirelessly and both games are compatible with Pok\u00e9mon Bank<\/em>. Through Pok\u00e9mon Bank<\/em>, players will be able to bring the Pok\u00e9mon that they catch in the Virtual Console versions of Pok\u00e9mon Gold<\/em> and Pok\u00e9mon Silver<\/em> into Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun<\/em> and Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Moon<\/em> when those games launch. Fans who purchase Pok\u00e9mon Gold<\/em> or Pok\u00e9mon Silver<\/em> at retail or in Nintendo eShop before September 21 2018 will receive a special code which will grant them the Mythical Pok\u00e9mon Celebi in the Pok\u00e9mon Sun, Pok\u00e9mon Moon, Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun<\/em> or Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Moon<\/em> video games.<\/p>\n
