Also included is the very recently appointed company president Shuntaro Furukawa, despite the fact that he only stepped up to this new role last week, who managed to secure a 96.51% rating.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shigeru Miyamoto (Representative Director, Fellow): 97.37 %<\/li>\n<li>Shinya Takahashi (Director, Senior Managing Executive Officer): 97.28 %<\/li>\n<li>Shuntaro Furukawa (Representative Director and President): 96.51 %<\/li>\n<li>Ko Shiota (Director, Senior Executive Officer): 97.28 %<\/li>\n<li>Satoru Shibata (Director, Senior Executive Officer): 97.28 %<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To put this into perspective, previous Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima saw an approval rating of 87.14% in his first year. This did eventually <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2017\/07\/nintendo_president_tatsumi_kimishimas_approval_rating_grows_10_percent\">rise to 97.70%<\/a> after the clear success of the Switch, however.<\/p>\n<p>With such a high number of changes at the top, including a completely <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/06\/former_nintendo_france_director_stephan_bole_becomes_nintendo_of_europe_president\">new senior management structure<\/a> in Europe, the next few months will be a very interesting time for Nintendo.
