We\u2019re a small indie team based in Guildford UK and I\u2019m super excited to announce No Man\u2019s Sky<\/em><\/strong> and its latest major feature content update Next<\/em><\/strong> are coming soon to Xbox One and will be enhanced for Xbox One X with support for HDR, 4K, and more.<\/p>\n

No Man\u2019s Sky<\/em> is inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction. We present players with an infinite procedural universe to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.<\/p>\n

Your voyage through No Man\u2019s Sky<\/em> is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your starship for speed and weaponry.<\/p>\n

Or maybe you\u2019ll be a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you\u2019ll reap huge rewards.<\/p>\n

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther and strengthen your spacesuit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.<\/p>\n

No Man\u2019s Sky<\/em> on Xbox One is huge. It includes the initial ambitious release, and all three major updates which changed so much: Foundation brought base building, freighter ownerships and survival game mode; Pathfinder introduced vehicles, online base sharing, and permadeath; Atlas Rises added 30 hours of story, a new procedural mission system and a visual overhaul.<\/p>\n

Which brings us to Next<\/em>, our \u201cnext step\u201d on a longer journey for us and the No Man\u2019s Sky<\/em> community. This is our biggest update so far, and something we\u2019ve been working ridiculously hard on. And after its release, we\u2019ll continue to support No Man\u2019s Sky<\/em> with significant and free content updates on Xbox One. Next<\/em> has a lot we\u2019re going to surprise people with and I can\u2019t wait until we can share more.<\/p>\n
