Yesterday&#8217;s Nintendo Direct gave us a look at the upcoming Version 3.0, which is set to add <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/03\/a_new_splatoon_2_update_will_soon_allow_players_to_rise_to_rank_x\">a new extreme rank<\/a> to the game, a new DLC expansion featuring a <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/03\/the_splatoon_2_octo_expansion_will_add_a_brand_new_single-player_campaign_mode_this_summer\">brand new single-player campaign<\/a>, and even news that the Inklings will be playable in an upcoming <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/03\/super_smash_bros_for_switch_is_coming_this_year_and_its_got_inklings\">Super Smash Bros. game for Nintendo Switch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If that wasn&#8217;t enough, the weekend will be bringing yet another new weapon into the game for us to enjoy and, this time around, it&#8217;s the\u00a0Neo Sploosh-o-matic.\u00a0It will come with the Squid Beakon as its sub weapon, and the Tenta Missiles as its special.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Neo Sploosh-o-matic gets added to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Splatoon2?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Splatoon2<\/a> tomorrow morning!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Sub: Squid Beakon<br \/>\u2705 Special: Tenta Missiles <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/MaJfwjJbR2\">pic.twitter.com\/MaJfwjJbR2<\/a>\u2014 Nintendo of Europe (@NintendoEurope) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NintendoEurope\/status\/972034318959771649?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 9, 2018<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p>As always, the update is set to kick in at 6pm Pacific \/ 9pm Eastern today (9th March), which means the early hours of the morning (2am UK \/ 3am CET) in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Will you be splooshin&#8217; it up on the splattlefield with this new weapon?
