However, we didn&#8217;t want to skip highlighting this gem that popped up: Vanillaware&#8217;s <strong>Muramasa<\/strong> is returning in the form of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/muramasa-revenant-blades\">Muramasa: Revenant Blades<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Scheduled for <strong>&#8220;Early 2027&#8221;<\/strong> on both Switch 1 and 2, this will be an overhaul for Wii&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/wii\/muramasa_the_demon_blade\">Muramasa: The Demon Blade<\/a>, a brilliant 2D action RPG from 2009. Or more accurately, an overhaul of an overhaul; the game was previously remastered for PS Vita in 2013 as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/psvita\/muramasa_rebirth\" class=\"external\">Muramasa Rebirth<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Having apparently overcome the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2023\/01\/vanillaware-president-really-wants-a-muramasa-port-but-admits-there-are-problems\">&#8220;problems&#8221; cited by Vanillaware&#8217;s president<\/a> preventing a new version from happening, this will include characters and DLC added for the Vita version, plus other enhancements. Why&#8217;s that?
