Here are the details from the PR:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;<em>007 First Light<\/em> will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 this <strong>Summer 2026<\/strong>, bringing the full Bond experience to Nintendo players. The release on Nintendo Switch 2 will enable players to enjoy the cinematic espionage adventure wherever they go, delivering the complete <em>007 First Light<\/em> experience in both handheld and docked modes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><\/blockquote>\n<p>As for the first year of content, there are new challenges and upgrades planned for the Tactical Simulator mode, a new Gadget (G2 Glasses), new game+, a photo mode and more. There&#8217;ll also be a new mission featuring Bawma:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Following events in Mauritania, an unexpected alliance forms between MI6 and Pirate King Bawma, with the Pirate King seeking MI6\u2019s help with a sensitive issue that requires Bond\u2019s personal involvement. This follows the title <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2026\/05\/first-lights-switch-2-release-date-is-still-mia-but-bonds-off-to-a-flying-start-elsewhere\">shifting 1.5 million copies<\/a> in its first 24 hours on the market.<\/p>\n<p>In some other IOI news this week, it&#8217;s also announced a new elusive target mission for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/hitman-world-of-assassination-signature-edition\">Hitman World of Assassination<\/a> featuring Wiz Khalifa as &#8220;The Wizard&#8221;.
