A bunch of you recommended it to us in our recurring &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/guides\/community-28-switch-games-we-missed-as-recommended-by-you?page=2\">Games We Missed<\/a>&#8216; feature, and it has since been sitting in the &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/858710\/Gravity_Circuit\/#app_reviews_hash\">Overwhelmingly Positive<\/a>&#8216; reviews bracket on <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/858710\/Gravity_Circuit\/\">Steam<\/a>. In short, we&#8217;re rather pleased to see that a sequel is in the works.<\/p>\n<p>Domesticated Ant Games and Dear Villagers have announced that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/gravity_circuit_2\">Gravity Circuit 2<\/a> will launch on Switch at <em>some point<\/em> in <strong>2027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll find the reveal trailer above, and trust us, it looks really rather polished. This time around, you&#8217;ll be able to play as both Kai <em>and<\/em> Cable, the latter bringing a new long-range combat approach to the platforming action. There are new abilities and Booster Chips on offer, too, all of which sound (and look) like another wonderful slice of nostalgia.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a handful of screenshots from Dear Villagers, so you can see all the gorgeous pixel art up close:<\/p>\n<aside class=\"gallery\"><figcaption class=\"caption\"><em class=\"credit\"><span class><\/span> Images: Dear Villagers<\/em><\/figcaption><\/aside>\n<p>We&#8217;ll be keeping an eye out for a firmer release date down the line, but that 2027 window leaves plenty of time for another playthrough \u2014 or a decent opportunity to finally tick it off the backlog. To celebrate the sequel announcement, the dev is giving away the game <em>for free<\/em> on Steam until 14th June.
