In saying this, the full cloud versions of these games can still be purchased.<\/p>\n<p>The following text also remains on each cloud version&#8217;s page listing: &#8220;This game requires an internet connection to play. Please try out the free demo before purchase&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Although the demos are no longer listed on the US store pages, they&#8217;re still available in locations such as the UK and Japan. Square Enix hasn&#8217;t shared any official announcements about the removal of these demos, but if we hear any updates, we&#8217;ll let you know.<\/p>\n<p>Unsurprisingly, there&#8217;s <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.resetera.com\/threads\/square-enix-has-removed-the-demos-for-the-kingdom-hearts-cloud-editions-from-the-us-and-jp-switch-eshop.1528378\/#post-155319394\">already plenty of speculation<\/a> &#8211; with some suggesting it could just be related to licensing or an error, while others are hopeful it might lead to something more. There have also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2024\/05\/rumour-reliable-insider-says-kingdom-hearts-4-might-come-to-switch-2\">been some rumours<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This collection originally made its debut in 2022 and included <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/kingdom_hearts_-_hd_1_5_plus_2_5_remix_-_cloud_version\">Kingdom Hearts &#8211; HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix<\/a><\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/kingdom_hearts_hd_2_8_final_chapter_prologue_-_cloud_version\"><strong>Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue<\/strong><\/a> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/kingdom_hearts_iii_-_cloud_version\">Kingdom Hearts III<\/a><\/strong>.
