Performance has been stabilised, with Switch 1 now running at up to 900p when docked and 720p in handheld, both of which target 30fps.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;On the Switch 2, resolution is 1440p while docked and 1080p in handheld mode, with both now running at a consistent 60fps. We&#8217;ve quickly tested it out ourselves on Switch 2 in preparation for this article, and we can confirm that the frame rate is a massive improvement over the initial release in 2025.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So, now is a great time to jump back in, or you can give this game a go for the first time with the Switch 2 demo.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"picture\" data-uuid=\"352c867eed4d2\"><a class=\"scanlines\" title=\"System Shock\" href=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/352c867eed4d2\/system-shock.large.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/352c867eed4d2\/system-shock.900x.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"System Shock\"><\/a><\/figure>\n<p>In some other news from Nightdive this week, the studio has also released a new patch for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/killing_time_resurrected\">Killing Time: Resurrected<\/a>, which comes loaded with <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/news\/app\/1733170\/view\/501728453452629378\">new features and fixes for all platforms<\/a>.
