Nintendo and Lego have announced that we&#8217;re getting some brand new Mario sets in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>But the big news here is that at <em>last<\/em>, we&#8217;re getting a proper Mario minifigure. We&#8217;ve been stuck with the chunky guy for such a long time we never thought this would actually happen. Why did it take you so long, Lego?<\/p>\n<p>The teaser looks pretty good, too \u2014 whether the warp pipe is also part of the sets coming next year, we don&#8217;t know. Surely.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second bit of Lego news we&#8217;ve had today after the reveal of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2026\/03\/18plus-lego-mario-kart-set-starring-luigi-is-now-available-for-pre-order\">18+ Luigi Mario Kart set<\/a>. And actually, it&#8217;s been a pretty busy MAR10 in general.<\/p>\n<p>Before this minifigure, which has some of us here in the office very excited, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/yoshi-and-the-mysterious-book\">Yoshi and the Mysterious Book<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2026\/03\/yoshi-and-the-mysterious-book-lands-switch-2-release-date\">got a release date<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><em>What sets would you like to see come next year?
