And, according to Takuto Edagawa, the game&#8217;s director, it sounds like we&#8217;ll be spending a <em>lot<\/em> of time rebuilding this abandoned island with our Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/pokemon-pokopia-will-take-20-40-hours-to-beat-on-average-and-theres-more-after-the-credits-says-director\">IGN<\/a>, Edagawa \u2014 who works at Koei Tecmo and previously worked on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/dragon_quest_builders_2\">Dragon Quest Builders 2<\/a> and directed the <strong>Monster Hunter<\/strong>-like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/wild-hearts-s\">Wild Hearts<\/a> \u2014 said that the main aim of the game &#8220;is typically not to go to the end roll&#8221;, meaning the credits.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The whole concept is to create the world with Pok\u00e9mon and live with the Pok\u00e9mon. However, as an average, it&#8217;ll be about <strong>20 to 40 hours<\/strong>, but it would really depend on how the players play the game&#8221;, he told the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>That makes it sound like a pretty chunky game, even if you just focus on the main stuff.
