It&#8217;s now apparently sent out another reminder (<em>and potentially the last major one<\/em>) before the big date.<\/p>\n<p>So, as of <strong>30th January 2026<\/strong>, game vouchers will no longer be available for purchase. Before then, Switch Online members can still buy a pair of game vouchers, and these vouchers will be valid for exactly 12 months after the purchase date.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"picture\" data-uuid=\"74d6c9e380c71\"><a class=\"scanlines\" title=\"Wario64 - BS\" href=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/74d6c9e380c71\/wario64-bs.large.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/74d6c9e380c71\/wario64-bs.900x.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"639\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Wario64 - BS\"><\/a><\/figure>\n<p>Nintendo has previously mentioned how it will continue to add new Switch games to the voucher program throughout 2026, even though it&#8217;s ending the sale of vouchers. You can see the current games available in the voucher program on <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendo.com\/us\/store\/games\/game-voucher-eligible\/#sort=df&amp;p=0\">Nintendo&#8217;s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Although Switch 2 games can&#8217;t be redeemed, there are Switch games in the game voucher program that you can purchase and then pay to upgrade. Examples of this include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/pokemon_legends_z-a\">Pok\u00e9mon Legends: Z-A<\/a>.
