Although it was a bit clunky in some parts, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/reviews\/nintendo-switch-2\/daemon-x-machina-titanic-scion\">it&#8217;s still a decently deep<\/a> mech combat experience.<\/p>\n<p>The game also got an eShop demo, and a roadmap was announced in September. Since then, it&#8217;s been updated multiple times with new content. Now, Marvelous and First Studio have rolled out updates 1.2.1 and 1.2.2. These updates add new bosses and a whole lot of fixes.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the full rundown courtesy of the official game page:<\/p>\n<h3>Daemon x Machina: Titanic Scion 1.2.1 &amp; 1.2.2 Updates (18th December 2025)<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Update 12\/18<\/strong>: The <em>Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion<\/em> 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 updates are now available worldwide. Please see the updated patch notes below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Bosses<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u30fb\u201dChaldia\u201d, \u201cInsania Rex RT: \u03a9\u201d, and \u201cImmortal Void RT: \u03a9\u201d have been added as new boss enemies.<br \/>\u30fb The missions \u201cBattle Chaldia\u2019s Effigy\u201d, \u201cBattle Insania Rex RT: \u03a9\u201d, and \u201cBattle Immortal Void RT: \u03a9\u201d will be added to the Rematch Simulator at the base.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bug Fixes (Ver. 1.2.1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u30fbFixed an issue in multiplayer on the guest side where enemies that die on the water would be stuck in a loot state.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the bike could no longer be upgraded after reaccepting the mission \u201cSubject: Let\u2019s ride!\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where certain forms could not be inverted or rotated in the Decal Editor.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the game would freeze during HUD customization under certain conditions.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where progress through \u201cRescuing Raven \u2013 Defeat the Axiom Soldiers\u201d could sometimes stop during multiplayer.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the screen would sometimes remain dark when Seer dies in missions such as \u201cSubject: Prototype performance test\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the knuckle \u201cAbrupt Shock\u201d could not equip the attachment \u201cPhysical Damage \u2191\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the auxiliary equipment \u201cFortis\u201d could not equip the attachment \u201cTotal Ammo \u2191\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where attachment slots would not be added when developing the auxiliary equipment \u201cFortis\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where damage was reduced when attacking from a grab state with the \u201cGrand Chariot\u201d blade.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue in multiplayer during Chapter 11 \u201cDeveloping Specialized Equipment\u201d where leaving the party before delivering the key item would remove the item from your possession.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where Enfoca-related missions could no longer be accepted if Enfoca was defeated during a mission request from her.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where Weiser RT: \u03b1 did not appear in the mountainous area as intended.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the objective for \u201cInvestigate Zeruchroar\u201d would sometimes display even when the mission was not accepted.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the fog would remain if a guest joined after defeating the \u201cAll-Seeing One\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where Toby would sometimes not appear when playing the story \u201cForge\u2019s Request: Lapis Lacrima\u201d via the Rematch Simulator.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the \u201cNew\u201d mark would not be applied upon obtaining Flying Swallow.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the attack judgment would remain after defeating Dreadnought at a certain time.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where Insania Rex could not be defeated if a mission was abandoned at a certain time.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue in multiplayer where the display could become bugged when firing straight down with the Heavy Armor \u201cFalx\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue in multiplayer where incorrect values would appear when checking another player\u2019s information.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the Arsenal could be unequipped by following a specific procedure when loading loadout data.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where it was possible to equip a passive skill of a different level than the player\u2019s own when acquiring a fusion skill.<br \/>\u30fbAdjusted the cooldown time of sniper rifles to be the same whether in or out of scope mode.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the player\u2019s hair would disappear at the base entrance when using the \u201cReset Body\u201d feature or turning off \u201cOuter Mutation\u201d with severe mutation.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where legs would become transparent in the Grand Entrance \u201cStarting Up the Arsenal\u201d when greaves are hidden.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where Grausam RT: \u03a9 could sometimes get stuck in Femto ore during battle.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where it was possible to move behind the background near the Western Laboratory area.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue in the \u201cInvestigate the Depths\u201d mission of \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d where the game would sometimes not progress.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where music and sounds could sometimes stop while playing \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the player could suddenly warp to a different location during the battle with Snatcher in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the Blossom\u2019s partner registration and voice would sometimes become unobtainable after making a certain amount of progress in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the game could freeze after completing \u201cDeactivate the 3rd Layer of the Forcefield\u201d and disbanding multiplayer in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where Blossom could sometimes disappear under certain conditions during \u201cInvestigate the Depths \u2013 Defeat the Immortals\u201d in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the battery could sometimes not be carried in Locus Initi\u2019s Third Survey Area General Control Building in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where Blossom\u2019s hairstyle could become distorted during event scenes in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue that made it possible to move behind the background in the Locus Initi\u2019s Third Survey Area General Control Building in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where a Spit Bee: E was placed out of bounds in the underground facility of the Second Survey Area in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbRemoved items placed in inaccessible locations in the Sovereign Axiom Femto Function Research Building in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where an excessive amount of Peculiar Scrap could be obtained from containers placed in the field in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where Peculiar Scrap could sometimes appear in an unreachable location when defeating the Primordial in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d multiplayer where attack effects from Grand Entrances did not occur during battle with Rebellion RT: \u03a9.<br \/>\u30fbCorrected the locations of Immortal appearances in the Second and Third Survey Areas in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d to match existing regions.<br \/>\u30fbCorrected issues with the projectile effects of some Assault Shift-equipped armor obtained at Locus Initi in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the critical range of the \u201cNotung\u201d laser blade had an incorrect value due to parameters in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the \u201cRapid-Fire Capability \u2191\u201d attachment could not be equipped on the Laser Minigun and Laser Machine Gun in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where \u201cBattle Crossandra\u201d, \u201cBattle Exploit\u201d, and \u201cBattle Aggregate\u201d were not registered or would disappear in the Simulator in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where you could no longer enter the Sovereign Axiom Communications Tower once it had been cleared in \u201cInto the Abyss\u201d.<br \/>\u30fbFixed multiple other bugs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bug Fixes (Ver. 1.2.2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u30fbAdded the following attachments: Memory Consumption \u2193 Lv4; Memory Consumption \u2193 Lv5<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where the main story would progress unintentionally when the player accepted a simulator mission while Chapter 10-3 \u201cTalk to Raven\u201d was in progress.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue where an area alert would be displayed unintentionally after starting \u201cBattle Rebellion RT: \u03a9\u201d in the simulator.<br \/>\u30fbFixed an issue that prevented Primordial from being defeated.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Apart from this title, some other Switch 2 games have been updated this week. This includes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/mario-kart-world\">Mario Kart World<\/a>, and just yesterday, Bethesda rolled out a patch for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-anniversary-edition\">Skyrim<\/a> on Nintendo&#8217;s new hybrid system.<\/p>\n<p>If you want find out more about Daemon x Machina: Titanic Scion, be sure to check out our review.
