Across all platforms Metal Gear Solid will run at <strong>30fps<\/strong> with an output resolution of <strong>1920 x 1080p<\/strong> (the exception being <strong>handheld mode<\/strong> which runs at <strong>1280 x 720p<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>As for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/metal_gear_solid_2_sons_of_liberty\">Metal Gear Solid 2<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/metal_gear_solid_3_snake_eater\">Metal Gear Solid 3<\/a>, the Switch version matches the resolution of other platforms in docked mode (<strong>1920 x 1080p<\/strong>) but is reduced from 60fps to <strong>30fps<\/strong> across both modes. And these games in <strong>handheld<\/strong> are limited to a resolution of <strong>1280 x 720p<\/strong>.
