We heard a lot about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/super_mario_bros_wonder\">Super Mario Bros. Wonder<\/a> in its recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/features\/super-mario-bros-wonder-direct-all-announcements-features-power-ups-worlds\">specialist Direct<\/a>, so we wouldn&#8217;t be surprised to see this big hitter slip into the background a little here.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, that leaves room for all of Mario&#8217;s pals! Both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/warioware_move_it\">WarioWare: Move It!<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/super_mario_rpg\">Super Mario RPG<\/a> are heading to the Switch in November, so we can see both of these getting some good time in the spotlight. Perhaps the remake of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/luigis_mansion_dark_moon\">Luigi&#8217;s Mansion: Dark Moon<\/a> will make an appearance too, though this one is still planned for 2024 at this point alongside that mysterious unnamed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/untitled_princess_peach_game\">Princess Peach game<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mario aside, we&#8217;d love to hear an update on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/professor_layton_and_the_new_world_of_steam\">Professor Layton and the New World of Steam<\/a> and maybe get a closer look at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/batman_arkham_trilogy\">Batman Arkham Trilogy<\/a>. In fact, there are a host of announced third-party games that still carry a &#8216;TBA 2023&#8217; release date, so firm launch dates for games such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/metal_slug_tactics\">Metal Slug Tactics<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/demonschool\">Demonschool<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/fantasy_life_i_the_girl_who_steals_time\">Fantasy Life i<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2023\/09\/gotham-knights-has-been-rated-for-nintendo-switch\">rumoured <strong>Gotham Knights<\/strong> port<\/a> are possible.<\/p>\n<p>And we&#8217;d be lying if we didn&#8217;t mention our hopes for some new additions to the NSO libraries \u2014 could we see a return for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/gameboy\/pokemon_red_and_blue\">Pok\u00e9mon Red and Blue<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, would it really be a Nintendo Direct if we didn&#8217;t throw a passing mention to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/metroid_prime_4\">Metroid Prime 4<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/hollow_knight_silksong\">Silksong<\/a> (surely it&#8217;s time!?), and the long-rumoured <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/wiiu\/legend_of_zelda_the_wind_waker_hd\">Wind Waker<\/a> \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/wiiu\/legend_of_zelda_twilight_princess_hd\">Twilight Princess<\/a> remasters?<\/p>\n<p>As for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/guides\/nintendo-switch-2-everything-we-know-about-nintendos-next-console-nvidia-chips-rumours\">new hardware<\/a>&#8230; we doubt it at this stage, but with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2023\/09\/nintendo-reportedly-showed-switch-2-demos-to-developers-at-gamescom\">rumours of recent demos to developers<\/a>, it&#8217;s not impossible.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"picture\"><a class=\"scanlines\" title=\"Hollow Knight Silksong\" href=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/ba20991d353c5\/hollow-knight-silksong.large.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciIHZpZXdCb3g9IjAgMCA5MDAgNTA2Ij48L3N2Zz4=\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" data-original=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/ba20991d353c5\/hollow-knight-silksong.900x.jpg\" alt=\"Hollow Knight Silksong\"><\/a><figcaption class=\"caption\">Could it be time, <em>finally?<\/em> We&#8217;ll find out soon \u2014 <em class=\"credit\">Image: Team Cherry<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<hr>\n<p><em>Now that we know the showcase is right around the corner, what are you hoping to see?
