It&#8217;s focused on the second DLC for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/pokemon_scarlet_and_violet_-_the_hidden_treasure_of_area_zero\">The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero<\/a>, The Indigo Disk. Apart from the return of past-generation starters, here&#8217;s a bit else about what&#8217;s featured (<a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/serebii.net\/\">via Serebii.net<\/a>):<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8211; A new move has been revealed, Psycic Noise which prevents the target healing<br \/>&#8211; The move Upper Hand strikes before a target&#8217;s priority move<br \/>&#8211; Raging Bolt is Electric\/Dragon-type. It has the move Thundercalp that is a priority move<br \/>&#8211; Iron Crown is Steel\/Psychic-type. The Pok\u00e9mon Company reportedly has some news to share at the Pok\u00e9mon 2023 World Championships this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>According to Serebii.net, fans can look forward to some news for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/pokemon_scarlet_and_violet\">Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet &amp; Violet<\/a> as well as the Pok\u00e9mon Trading Card Game at the end of the event&#8217;s closing ceremony, which takes place this Sunday on <strong>13th<\/strong> <strong>August<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The same source has shared a <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SerebiiNet\/status\/1689890693790269440\">seperate update on social media<\/a>, mentioning how there will apparently be even more news about the upcoming DLC &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/pokemon_scarlet_and_violet_-_the_hidden_treasure_of_area_zero\">The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero<\/a>&#8216; shared later this month on <strong>22nd August<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At last year&#8217;s 2022 event, The Pok\u00e9mon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara shared a brand new &#8220;competitive play&#8221; video for Scarlet and Violet.
