Luffy in the live-action adaptation of the popular manga and anime series &#8211; has spoken about how Nintendo games have influenced his career.<\/p>\n<p>He &#8220;loves&#8221; series like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nes\/super_mario_bros\">Super Mario Bros.<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nes\/legend_of_zelda\">The Legend of Zelda<\/a> &#8211; referring to Link and Mario as his &#8220;two heroes&#8221; growing up while calling the Wii title <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/wii\/super_mario_galaxy\">Super Mario Galaxy<\/a> &#8220;one of the best pieces of art&#8221;. Unfortunately, he feels like he&#8217;s missing out on some parts of Nintendo&#8217;s history &#8211; with the 19-year-old actor revealing how he would &#8220;really love&#8221; a GameCube to experience a number of &#8220;iconic&#8221; games on this platform including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/gamecube\/legend_of_zelda_the_wind_waker\">Wind Waker<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I would love to play Zelda: The Wind Waker but not the remaster from the Wii U, the original from the GameCube, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi&#8217;s Mansion &#8211; there are so many iconic GameCube games I haven&#8217;t been able to play&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Admittedly, Luffy&#8217;s live-action actor isn&#8217;t the only Nintendo fan wanting to relive Link&#8217;s cel-shaded adventure. During the Switch generation, many other Zelda enthusiasts have been calling for Nintendo to re-release this entry, and there have even been some rumours about a possible re-release.<\/p>\n<p>As for other GameCube titles like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/gamecube\/super_mario_sunshine\">Super Mario Sunshine<\/a>, Nintendo decided to offer this one as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2020\/09\/super_mario_3d_all-stars_lands_on_switch_on_18th_september_and_its_a_limited-time_thing\">a &#8220;limited-time&#8221; game<\/a> and has also re-released and remastered titles like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/pikmin_1plus2\">Pikmin 1+2<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/metroid_prime_remastered\">Metroid Prime<\/a> on the Switch.
